The rural villa is rooted amidst the serene woods of Nibbiaia (Livorno, Tuscany) and holds an ancient history.

Commissioned by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, the main farmhouse was built by the church as a monastery in the seventeenth century.

Since then it has always been perceived as a nurturing place where one can rest body and mind.

In this enchanting space, suspended between the sea and the sky, you can enjoy numerous and essential benefits for your wellbeing.

Perched on the top of the hill, Alberelli farmhouse has a stunning view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the archipelago islands such as Elba, Capraia, Gorgona and even Corsica on a clear day.

Its idyllic position means it is encircled by the rejuvenating scent of the countryside combined with the healthy salty air that floats through the pine trees from the nearby sea.

The fields of our farm spill over the crest of  a hill that slopes down to the banks of the river Chioma. Part of the Natural Reserve “Monti Livornesi”, our property is home to a fascinating variety of plants and trees typical of the Mediterranean marquis and many different species of animals, especially birds.

Experience the charm of the Tuscan countryside, absorbing spectacular views and sampling famed Italian culinary delights. Explore the many cycle and hiking routes that take you through the forest and along the uNiue coastline. Stroll through neighbouring medieval Etruscan villages and nearby historical artistic Tuscan cities. Spend the day at the beach kayaking, snorkelling, rock-climbing or just breathing in rhythm with the sea.

Get involved in harvesting seasonal fruits and vegetables from our vegetable garden and take our cooking class on how to turn them into delicious Tuscan dishes. Learn how to forage wild herbs that grow spontaneously on our hillside and take home knowledge of their uses in the kitchen. Nothing tastes as good as food you have picked yourself…especially when drizzled with our very own extra virgin olive oil!
